THE BOTHAN AT LUNDIES

SUTHERLAND, SCOTLAND

Overlooking the Kyle of Tongue on Scotland’s far north coast, the sitting area designed by Le Corbursier its almost worth the stay alone.

Situated in the Lundies steading and facing the wonderful and cosy courtyard with an open firepit and adjourning outside dining area. The Bothan feels like a modern version of a butler's home on an estate. Private yet privileged and part of the ensemble. The Bothan is straight forward to use with a simple layout that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you enter. Practical with a sturdy feel - natural materials such as the concrete terrazzo floors, wood cladded walls and brass fossettes complete the look.

Surrounding you are Sutherland’s majestic landscapes - a beautiful canvass for adventures in the wild. Hike the famous munros, traverse the coastline by bike or take a long drive into the unknown.

THE SPACE

The Bothan at Lundies is a self-catering cottage for up to four people in one double room and one twin room.

The cottage has a shared washroom with a large shower, adjacent to a well appointed kitchen, dining area and living space.

Going up the wide wooden staircase you’ll arrive at the first floor and the two bedrooms. A small landing is made for you to place your luggage before you snuggle into one of the two bedrooms for a cosy evening with a good read and your favourite drink.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

The Bothan is offered on a self-catering basis only. That gives you the freedom to cook whatever you like during your stay. We have stocked the kitchen with some good staples, including salt & pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee, milk, butter and some pasta.

GOOD TO KNOW

Our cottages are family-friendly, and we are happy to provide a cot and a high chair if you wish. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement - please let our booking team know. You can use your cottage at any time after 4pm on the day of arrival. We ask that you depart by 10am on your final day. This cottage is available for a minimum five night stay.
