At the centre of the Killiehuntly courtyard is our little bothy. Best suited for a family, the bothy has a double room and a twin bunk-bed room, as well as cosy wee sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Ajoining the bothy is a closed herb garden, and wonderful place to sit and watch the sun set over the mountains beyond. The bothy is a wonderfully simple space to base yourself as you explore the Highlands. After a day in the mountains, it is a comforting little haven to relax and recoup.

IN THE HEART OF OUR CONSERVATION EFFORTS

The Killiehuntly Bothy sits within the wild surrounds of the Cairngorm National Park. Stretching across undulating mountain tops, expansive wetlands and thick, native forests, the national park is home to a rich array of wildlife and local culture. As a responsible custodian of much of the national park, WildLand is committed to an ambitious and proactive programme of landscape-scale rehabilitation across our portfolio. To date, we have planted over five million new native trees, and created the conditions for many more to naturally regenerate - providing a home for wildlife, flora and fauna. We hope you’ll join us in this truly special corner of the world.
